Job summary

Immersive Interactive is seeking a Field Engineer to join our Technical Services team and support the installation, commissioning and ongoing operation of immersive technology solutions across the UK.

In this hands-on role, you will be one of the key technical contacts for customers on site, commission and test newly installed systems, guide customers through handover and training, and return for maintenance or technical support when required.

Qualifications

• Strong technical foundation and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel across the UK; stay out up to 3 nights per week.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Commission, configure and test immersive technology solutions at customer sites across the UK.
• Complete customer handovers and provide practical training on system operation, Studio software and basic troubleshooting.
• Carry out scheduled and reactive post-installation support, maintenance and repair visits.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and system integration issues, collaborating with Technical Support on complex cases.
• Support site surveys and pre-installation technical checks to ensure successful project delivery.
• Maintain accurate commissioning, service and handover documentation and comply with Health & Safety, ISO and quality requirements.
• Work closely with Operations and Technical Support throughout installation, commissioning and customer aftercare, including remote support internationally where required.
• Support the testing of new hardware and software solutions, provide feedback from customer sites and contribute to continuous improvement of technical services
