Job summary

A leading industry manufacturer is seeking a driven Service Technician / Engineer to install, commission, maintain, and repair advanced capital equipment at client sites across the UK and internationally. You will diagnose issues, train customers, and document activities while collaborating with engineering teams to push product improvements.

Qualifications

Strong background in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
Experience in capital equipment service or similar field-based engineering roles.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Install and commission complex capital equipment at client sites nationwide.
Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
Provide hands-on technical support and training to customers.
Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
Ensure high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
Accurately document service activities and maintain reports.
Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to support product improvements.
