Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) invites applications for a part-time Imaging Booking & Scheduling Escalations role. Based at International House, Town of Manchester, the post requires rota-based work across multiple imaging modalities and patient-focused care aligned to national guidelines.

The role is part of a team supporting ordering and scheduling with checks in HIVE, under a 30-hour weekly rota. The team includes an assistant and a modality-wide waiting list manager.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work effectively in a busy office environment.
• Organisational skills - ability to manage time well.
• Successful experience in customer relations role; face to face and telephone.

Responsibilities

• On a rota basis to book and schedule aligned to referrer order priority for an extensive range of imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety is considered in all we do.
• Validate orders against clinical indication - at times amending orders to reflect expected delivery times.
