Job summary

The Highfield Hospital in Rochdale, part of Circle Health Group, is recruiting a Patient Administrator (Imaging) on a bank basis. The role covers administrative tasks across the patient journey within the Imaging department and involves covering busy periods and staff leave.

Applicants should have Maths and English GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent, PC proficiency, and prior admin experience in private healthcare is beneficial. Salary is hourly with opportunities to support the imaging team as required.

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSE at A-C or equivalent.
• Proficient in PC usage and common office software.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the smooth running of the patient administrative process throughout the patient journey.
• Ensure best practice process maps are followed to provide an efficient, professional service to patients, visitors, consultants and staff.
• Handle all patient queries promptly and professionally.
• Manage all incoming and outgoing mail.
• Approve electronic bookings and update bookings received via email.
• Maintain Health and Safety knowledge and act on AH&W requirements.
