Job summary

Hypersonica GmbH in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) lead to own the end-to-end ILS workstream for a defence programme. You will work with engineering to ensure supportability is considered early, and you will manage logistics risk proactively while building strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

You will shape programme strategy, establish lean ILS processes, and serve as the go-to expert on supportability and logistics questions,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Integrated Logistics Support experience in defence, aerospace or regulated engineering environments.
• Experience delivering an end-to-end ILS workstream or small programme.
• Background in engineering, logistics or materiel management with technical content fluency.
• Ability to build processes and structures autonomously with lean, fit-for-purpose practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) workstream end-to-end for a programme or major workstream cluster.
• Collaborate with engineering to feed supportability considerations into design decisions early, managing logistics risk proactively.
• Build and manage working-level customer relationships and translate requirements into ILS deliverables and outcomes.
• Structure ILS-related bid content and evaluate subcontractors and suppliers for high-potential partners.
• Develop deep ILS expertise and shape programme strategy, risk decisions and lessons learned.
• Establish and refine ILS processes, templates, and structures, avoiding unnecessary overhead.
• Maintain knowledge across the team as the go-to reference for supportability and logistics questions.
