Job summary

MBDA UK is seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager to lead ILS strategies across future Domestic and Export missile programs. You will influence design decisions and craft through-life support solutions to ensure effective serviceability from entry to sustainment.

The role blends technical leadership with stakeholder engagement, requires UK MOD familiarity, and offers hybrid working with 1–2 days in Stevenage.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an ILS, Supportability or Through-Life Support role within defence or aerospace.
• Engineering degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
• Knowledge of ASD S-Series ILS standards and their practical application.
• Experience with UK MOD customers or defence primes.
• Ability to influence multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders across an international environment.
• Experience supporting bids and proposals.
• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of ILS strategies and plans aligned with customer and contractual requirements.
• Manage ILS activities across the full lifecycle from concept through to in-service, with potential product transitions to other life-cycle phases.
• Develop and publish a robust Through Life Support Policy.
• Ensure compliance with ASD S-Series standards and MoD ILS standards.
• Oversee Logistics Support Analysis, maintenance task analysis, spares modelling, and provisioning.
• Act as the primary ILS point of contact for customers and stakeholders.
• Oversee delivery of support equipment within the UK and internationally.
• Support bid and proposal activities, including ILS costing and risk assessment.
• Mentor ILS practitioners within the programme or functional team.
• Identify and manage ILS risks, assumptions and dependencies.
