Job summary

Lockheed Martin UK Ampthill is recruiting for a senior ILS Engineering Lead to set the ILS philosophy and deliver the ILS components for large, complex programmes. You will oversee ILS activities across radar, weapons, and data links, driving technical direction and mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires extensive ILS experience, tool proficiency, and a track record of delivering reliability and maintainability data. On-site work in the UK is assumed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading ILS activities within large systems programs.
• Proficient with EAGLE LSAR or similar toolsets.
• Experience with technical publications and authors.
• Familiarity with Windchill data management.
• Experience using reliability and maintainability data.
• Ability to verify subcontractor data deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead ILS engineering activities across complex programmes.
• Define ILS philosophy and approach for the programme.
• Deliver ILS components and ensure timely outcomes.
• Coordinate with radar, weapon, comms domains as required.
• Mentor junior staff and drive technical direction.
