Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support Manager to lead ILS strategies across complex engineering programmes in the UK. The role focuses on shaping through-life support, influencing system design and ensuring sustainable support from concept to in-service.

You will coordinate across customers, project teams and external partners, manage LSA, provisioning and documentation, and lead ILS practitioners while supporting bids and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within an Integrated Logistics Support / Through-Life Support environment.
• Degree or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline.
• Experience in defence, aerospace, maritime or other regulated engineering sectors.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of ILS strategies and plans.
• Manage ILS activities across the full product life cycle.
• Develop and maintain Through-Life Support policies and strategies.
• Ensure compliance with ASD S-Series standards and defence industry requirements.
• Oversee Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), maintenance task analysis and provisioning activities.
• Coordinate training, technical publications and documentation activities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders on ILS matters.
• Support bid and proposal activities, including cost estimation and risk assessment.
• Identify, manage and mitigate ILS risks, assumptions and dependencies.
• Lead and mentor ILS practitioners across projects and programmes.
