Adviser Manager
  • Annual Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 plus £7,500 car allowance
  • Location: flexible but ideally within 2 hours of Bristol
  • Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking an experienced Adviser Manager to lead and manage a team of financial advisers, ensuring high standards of client outcomes, regulatory compliance, and business growth. This role is ideal for a leader passionate about developing teams within a regulated, client-focused environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of financial advisers to deliver excellent client outcomes.
  • Monitor and manage individual and team performance against KPIs and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with business coaches and T&C supervisors to support adviser development and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, suitability checks, and support the recruitment and onboarding of new advisers.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, integrity, and client-centricity within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of financial advice processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to analyse performance data and implement actionable insights.
  • Effective communication and coaching skills.
  • Commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to manage sensitive situations.
  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (CII, CISI, or equivalent).
  • Current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS).
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a regulated financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with FCA rules, T&C frameworks, and suitability standards.
  • Up-to-date CPD record.
