Shaw Education Trust seeks an experienced ICT Technician to support a cluster of Staffordshire schools. The role is based at the SET Head Office with travel to schools; full driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.

You will support project work, help manage IT systems, and contribute to central infrastructure initiatives. You will maintain Office 365 tools, assist with end-user IT support, and mentor other technicians.

Qualifications

• Experience as ICT Technician with driving licence and ability to travel across a cluster of schools.
• Proven IT support and customer service skills within an educational environment.
• Experience in supporting Office 365 tools and central systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide onsite IT support at schools as needed.
• Utilise IT Helpdesk to assist end users, prioritise workload and log activity.
• Update and create documentation for changes to systems.
• Check security logs, email quarantine, backup logs and take action as required.
• Work with senior team members on infrastructure elements (servers and networking).
• Assist in design, development and implementation of new IT systems under guidance.
• Support Office 365 tools (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams for Education) across the Trust.
• Mentor and support other IT Technicians.
