Job summary

PK Education Limited is seeking a qualified IT/Computer Science Teacher for a supply/temporary assignment in Rotherham. The role covers IT, ICT and Computer Science across KS3 and KS4 within a large secondary school.

The ideal candidate will deliver engaging lessons, support GCSE Computer Science and Creative iMedia, and assist with practical coursework while maintaining an inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching IT, ICT or Computer Science within a UK secondary school.
• Confident delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Experience teaching GCSE Computer Science or Creative iMedia is advantageous.
• Experience with vocational IT qualifications at KS5 would be beneficial.
• Strong subject knowledge across computing and digital technology.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS Check.

Job Description

PK Education are recruiting for a qualified and enthusiastic IT / Computer Science Teacher to work within a large, well-established secondary school in Rotherham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate IT specialist looking to join a school with a broad and engaging technology curriculum, where students are encouraged to develop practical digital skills alongside their understanding of computing and modern technology.

The school offers a varied ICT and Computer Science curriculum across KS3 and KS4, covering everything from programming and computer systems to cybersecurity, digital media production and creative technology.

The role will require helping to cover in the Mathamatics department when necessary.

The successful candidate will be confident delivering engaging lessons, supporting students of varying abilities and bringing real-world technology into the classroom.
