PK Education Limited is seeking a qualified IT / Computer Science Teacher to join a large Sheffield secondary school on a supply/temporary contract. You will deliver IT, ICT and Computer Science across KS3 and KS4, supporting GCSE/Creative iMedia and helping students develop practical and theoretical understanding with engaging lessons.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching IT/ICT/Computer Science in a UK secondary school.
• Confident delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Hold or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS Check.

Responsabilités

• Teaching IT, ICT and Computer Science across KS3 and KS4.
• Delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons.
• Supporting students studying GCSE Computer Science and Creative iMedia.
• Teaching topics including programming, cybersecurity, networks and digital literacy.
• Developing students' problem-solving and computational thinking skills.
• Supporting students with practical coursework and assessments.
• Planning and delivering lessons in line with current curriculum.
• Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and an inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborating with the wider department and school team.
