Protocol Education is partnering with a welcoming secondary school in Sheffield to recruit a Computer Science Teacher. The role is full-time with ASAP start and a competitive salary dependent on experience.

You will deliver engaging CS lessons to KS3-KS5, plan lessons, assess progress and support students to develop programming and problem‑solving skills. A strong classroom presence and QTS or equivalent teaching experience are required.

We are working with a welcoming and supportive secondary school that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to develop their career within a positive school environment.

The role

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5
• Plan and deliver lessons that inspire pupils to develop their digital and problem-solving skills
• Teach topics including programming, algorithms, computer systems and digital technology
• Maintain high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and wider school
• Contribute positively to the life and culture of the school

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has QTS or relevant teaching experience
• Has strong subject knowledge within Computer Science or a related discipline
• Can confidently engage and motivate secondary-aged pupils
• Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Is reliable, enthusiastic and committed to helping pupils achieve their potential
• Is an experienced teacher or ECT looking for their next challenge
