An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy and dynamic ICT team as a Support Technician.
This team supports various aspects of Trust clinical and non-clinical systems and hardware within North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, including participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of a broad range of ICT applications and operating systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, PDQ, SCCM, RDP, and DameWare.
Note: The base location at North Tees or Hartlepool is negotiable.
With over 5,000 users, 3,000 desktops, 700 networked printers, and 150 applications across approximately 40 locations within Tees and Durham Valley, applicants must demonstrate sound technical knowledge of diverse applications and hardware to provide solutions to end users both over the phone and in person.
You will assist with all aspects of the day-to-day administration and management of ICT systems, requiring broad and deep ICT knowledge gained through experience. You should be able to work independently and understand the complexity of the overall ICT environment within the Trust.
Working closely with the ICT Focus Groups, you should understand the importance of teamwork in delivering excellent customer service.
Experience supporting NHS information systems on various platforms is advantageous.
