Job summary

Ericsson in Reading, United Kingdom, seeks a senior ICT Program Director to drive delivery of CORE Networks solutions. You will lead large, multi-vendor 5G/4G Core and Cloud engagements from scoping to contract fulfillment, coordinating pre-sales to delivery.

The role requires 10–15 years of program leadership, an engineering degree, PMP preferred, and a proven track record in network function projects, automation, GenAI integration, and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years as Program Manager/Director or similar, with Core and Cloud delivery.
• Engineering degree.
• Experience delivering network function projects (physical/virtualized/containerized).
• Experience automating test/deployments and GenAI in program deliveries.
• Experience supporting sales efforts to drive new business.
• Strong project control and risk management skills.
• Strong financial/business case development.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large Core/Cloud programs from scoping to contract fulfillment.
• Drive profitability through efficiency, reuse, AI and automation.
• Maintain customer relationships and presence on site to build trust.
• Lead global, cross-functional teams with governance and controls.
• Identify milestones, obstacles, risks, and implement solutions; resolve issues.
• Lead change management affecting scope, budget, timeline and quality.
• Share best practices and optimize delivery processes.
• Foster a one-team culture and coach team members.
