Job summary

1TECH STAFFING LIMITED is seeking an experienced ICT Manager to join a leading organisation supporting the education sector in Oxford/Abingdon. You will own the school's ICT infrastructure, lead projects, and act as the main technical contact for the site.

The role requires hands-on management of servers, networks, security and backups while engaging with school leadership and end users to deliver reliable technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience managing ICT infrastructure and be confident with Microsoft server technologies, networking, virtualization and cybersecurity.
• Experience in the education sector is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing servers, networks, Wi-Fi and ICT infrastructure.
• Leading ICT projects and system upgrades.
• Maintaining backups, security and disaster recovery.
• Supporting Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and Hyper-V.

The Role

You'll take ownership of the school's ICT infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and fit for purpose while acting as the main technical contact for the site.
