Job summary

AJ Bell is seeking an Identity and Access Management Lead to strengthen how identities and access are managed across the business. You will work with the CISO and senior teams to govern identity lifecycle, access certification, privileged access and emerging areas such as agentic AI and non-human identities.

You will lead IAM policy development, oversee joiners/movers/leavers, and develop metrics and reports for senior governance forums.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IAM governance and improvement activities.
• Technical understanding of enterprise identity architecture and authentication methods.
• Experience with identity governance, privileged access management, and access control.
• Ability to coordinate audits and remediation across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and monitor IAM policies, standards and controls.
• Oversee joiner/mover/leaver and access certification across human and non-human accounts.
• Develop IAM metrics and reporting to show control effectiveness and risks.
• Provide day-to-day leadership for IAM activities and report to senior management.
• Monitor identity-related threats and advise on authentication and access improvements.
• Embed IAM requirements into services, automation and platform integrations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and close remediation actions.
• Develop and maintain the IAM roadmap aligned with security strategy.
