Job summary

National Skills Agency are recruiting an IAG & Work Experience Officer in Grays to plan, source and coordinate work experience placements for learners on study programmes. You will work with employers and centres to ensure placements are meaningful, compliant and aligned with Gatsby Benchmarks.

You will also provide high-quality information, advice and guidance, run workshops and engage with stakeholders to achieve KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Level 3 IAG qualification or above.
• Level 2 English and Maths.
• Experience sourcing and securing employers for work experience.
• Experience delivering presentations and workshops.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate work experience placements with curriculum teams.
• Source and maintain employer partnerships for work experience.
• Match learners to suitable placements considering interests and goals.
• Ensure placements meet Health & Safety, safeguarding and insurance requirements.
• Deliver IAG sessions and prepare learners for the workplace.
• Support learners through the work experience process from start to finish.
• Record attendance, progress, and collect feedback from employers and learners.
• Coordinate risk assessments for learners with identified needs.
