Job summary

National Skills Agency is seeking an IAG & Work Experience Officer in Watford. You will plan, coordinate and deliver high-quality work experience placements for learners aged 16-19 and 16-25 with high needs, ensuring placements are compliant and beneficial.

You will build strong links between employers, centres and learners, provide Information, Advice and Guidance throughout the learning journey, and meet targets and KPIs.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) or above.
• Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
• Experience sourcing and securing employers for work experience.
• Experience delivering engaging presentations and workshops.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate work experience with curriculum teams.
• Source, develop and maintain employer partnerships and opportunities.
• Match learners to placements considering interests and goals.
• Ensure placements meet health & safety, safeguarding and insurance.
• Plan and deliver sessions with PSD tutors for workplace readiness.
• Support learners throughout the work experience process.
• Liaise with SEND and Compliance for ALS and welfare support.
• Arrange individual risk assessments as needed.
• Monitor learner attendance and progress during placements.
• Collect feedback from employers and learners to assess quality.
