Job summary

Oasis Academy Brislington in Bristol is seeking an I-BASE Manager to create a safe, supportive and positive environment for every student within our Isolation Provision. You will ensure students feel safe, valued and respected, helping them re-engage with learning and reach their potential.

The role focuses on trauma-informed approaches, behaviour modification, restorative practices and close collaboration with the pastoral team, within a supportive trust environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of I-BASE, your isolation provision, potentially used as an alternative to suspension.
• Support referred students with trauma-informed approaches, behaviour modification and relationship building.
• Manage daily planning, daily prep and ensure effective use of the provision.
• Develop a culture of high expectations and support student behaviour, engagement and belonging.
• Maintain accurate records and update Bromcom with behaviour logs.
• Implement restorative approaches to strengthen relationships and outcomes for students.
• Attend Oasis Community Learning professional development sessions as required.
• Demonstrate strong organisation, time-management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborate with the wider pastoral team.
