Job summary

Oasis Academy Brislington in Bristol is seeking an I-BASE Manager to create a safe, supportive environment for students in isolation provision. You will oversee daily operations, plan activities, and work to re-engage students with learning.

The role focuses on trauma-informed practice, behaviour support, restorative approaches, and close collaboration with the pastoral team and wider Trust. Term-time hours apply.

Qualifications

  • Experience in school pastoral or inclusion settings is preferred.
  • Ability to implement trauma-informed approaches with students.
  • Strong record-keeping and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day running of I-BASE, as an alternative to suspension.
  • Support referred students with trauma-informed practice and behaviour support.
  • Manage daily operations: plan activities, prepare for the day, supervise use of the provision.
  • Develop a culture of high expectations to improve behaviour and belonging.
  • Maintain accurate records and update Bromcom with logs.
  • Implement restorative approaches to relationships and outcomes.
  • Attend Oasis CPD and training sessions as required.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational, time-management and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborate with the wider pastoral team.
