Job summary

Oasis Academy Brislington in Bristol is seeking an I-BASE Manager to lead the Isolation Provision, creating a safe, supportive environment for every student and helping them re-engage with learning. The role oversees daily operations, trauma-informed support, and the use of the Bromcom system to log behaviour.

The successful candidate will develop a culture of high expectations, implement restorative approaches, and work with the wider pastoral team to support student wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of I-BASE, an alternative to suspension.
• Support students with trauma-informed practice and behaviour modification.
• Manage I-BASE daily planning and record-keeping.
• Develop a culture of high expectations and belonging within I-BASE.
• Maintain accurate records and use Bromcom for logs.
• Implement restorative approaches to strengthen relationships and outcomes.
• Attend Oasis Community Learning development sessions.
• Demonstrate strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Work as part of the pastoral team.
