Job summary

Long Clawson Dairy Ltd is seeking Hygiene Operatives for our Bottesford site. Working 36.65 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 5:00pm to 1:00am, you will help keep production areas clean and compliant with hygiene standards.

The role emphasizes allergen awareness, food safety and health & safety practices, with support for achieving a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate. Competitive salary and benefits are offered to join our team.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of allergen awareness, food safety and health & safety practices.
• A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable; training may be provided.
• Familiarity with HACCP and COSHH is a bonus.

We are now seeking a number of Hygiene Operatives, to join the Clawson family situated in the picturesque village of Long Clawson, just 6 miles from Melton Mowbray.

What you’ll do

Hygiene is hugely important to us and our customers – our hygiene team start work just as our factory stops so that they can get all our production areas clean and ready for the next shift.

What are we looking for?

• A hardworking individual who thrives under pressure and stays focused on delivering excellent results.
• Experienced in food manufacturing (or a similar industry) is a big plus!
• Strong knowledge of allergen awareness, food safety, and Health & Safety practices, your expertise helps ensure top standards.
• A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable, but we’re happy to support your development if you’re keen to achieve it.
• Familiarity with HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points) and/or COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) is a bonus, showing you're ready to contribute to a safe and efficient environment.
