Job summary

Dovecote Park Ltd is seeking a Hygiene Operative in Pontefract, UK. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment to clean factory facilities, using PPE and cleaning chemicals, and performing deep cleaning tasks on equipment.

The position is permanent with standard Monday–Friday shifts and early start times. You will join a committed team focusing on high standards of hygiene and safety across our Yorkshire facilities, with onsite parking and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or food production environment.
• Ability to work solo or in a team.
• Willing to work in a physically demanding role.
• Follow strict cleaning procedures and PPE protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning equipment and PPE.
• Use cleaning solutions and materials safely.
• Check machinery is in a safe state before cleaning.
• Deep clean the factory according to procedure, stripping and rebuilding equipment.
• Work to tight deadlines delivering quality cleaning.

Shift Available:: Monday to Friday, 5:30am to 14:30pm

Role:

• Working with chemicals and wearing full PPE.
• Working with cleaning solutions, materials, and cleaning equipment e.g., low pressure system.
• Checking that all machinery and equipment in the area is in a safe state before starting the cleaning.
• Deep cleaning of the Factory to procedure, stripping and rebuilding equipment.
• Working to procedure within a tight time scale delivering quality cleaning.
