Long Clawson Dairy in Long Clawson (LE14 4PJ) is seeking a Process Operator – Packing to operate packing lines for Heritage cheeses, including Clawson Farm Stilton and Rutland Red. You will prepare and pack products on a state-of-the-art line, ensuring quality and safety across the process.

The role is a day shift, Monday to Friday, 6:15am to 3:00pm (40 hours/week). Training is provided; a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable and English at a basic level is acceptable.

Formación

• Industrious and able to work under pressure.
• Fitness to lift up to 20 kg and push/pull heavy loads with training.
• Basic Food Hygiene certification to be achieved within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Operate the packing lines and prepare/pack cheeses on a fast-moving line.
• Work as part of a small team to maintain product quality and line efficiency.
• Follow training, work instructions and health & safety rules; keep area clean and records up to date.

Salary: £12.85 per hour + Great Benefits

Hours: Day Shift – Monday to Friday, 6:15am to 3:00pm – 40 hours per week

We are now seeking a number of Process Operators, to join the Clawson family, situated in the picturesque village of Long Clawson, just 6 miles from Melton Mowbray.

All training will be given, however if you have experience of working in a fast-moving food manufacturing environment, this would be an advantage.

What you’ll do

Working as part of a small team, you will be operating the packing lines, taking our heritage brand cheeses such as Clawson Farm Stilton, or Rutland Red, and preparing and then packing. We use state of the art equipment, so you will be operating machinery, using new systems and ways of working, and you will be responsible for your own health and safety and that of your colleagues.

What are we looking for?

• Industrious and be able to work under pressure
• Good level of fitness - able to lift weights of up to 20kg and push/pull weights of up to 1000kg, in accordance with manual handling training
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (to be achieved within 6 months)
• Adaptable/flexible to meet requirements and demands of production and seasonal fluctuations
• English speaking at basic level
