Technical and Artwork Administrator

Long Clawson Dairy (Clawson Farms)

Based: Long Clawson (LE14 4PJ)

Salary: £Competitive + Great Benefits

Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 08:30 to 17:00

We are now seeking a Technical and Artwork Administrator, to join the Clawson family situated in the picturesque village of Long Clawson, just 6 miles from Melton Mowbray.

What you’ll do

You will be responsible for supporting the technical team with the technical compliance requirements of numerous major retailers, coordination of the artwork approval process liaising with artwork houses to ensure product deadlines are achieved, raw material and packaging supplier approval administration and general technical administrative duties.

• Support third party site audits where required, prepare the supplier, ingredient & packaging traceability and compliance information.

• Prepare & assist in customer visits and site technical audits.
• Provide Support to Technical Management Team – General administrative support, internal auditing, compilation of information required for specification completion.

We Care

• Assisting in maintenance of the ERP system building bills of materials, generating new packaging item codes, maintenance of accurate data in packaging item cards and BOM’s, completion of packing specifications etc.
• Co-ordination of nutritional testing / data and updating relevant databases.
• Co-ordination of shelf life samples and submission to the external laboratory and updating relevant databases.
• Assist with development and review of new packaging formats as required.

Togetherness

• Artwork management – circulating artwork collating comments and responding via web portals, submit cutter guides, liaise with artwork providers, brief Long Clawson design and artwork agency on new artwork or amends etc, seeing through to launch
• Respond to customer request.

Integrity

• Supplier approval system management (ingredients & packaging) – gathering new & existing supplier documentation including BRC certificates etc. placing new raw materials & packaging on the system and ensuring all specifications and supplier questionnaires are kept up to date and compliant with Long Clawson & retailer requirements.
• Carry out general administration duties.

What are we looking for?

Essential

• Strong administrative skills.
• Intermediate IT skills including Excel and Word.
• Excellent standards of spoken and written English.
• Ability to collate, analyse and deliver information from various sources.

Desirable

• Experience of managing major retailer artwork approval systems.
• Knowledge of quality and compliance systems.
• Experience within a food manufacturing environment.
