Proactive Global is seeking a Hygiene Operative in Aylesbury to support a market-leading site undergoing rapid growth. You will perform deep cleaning on semi-automated lines, ensure GMP compliance, and maintain logs of cleaning schedules and equipment status.

Key tasks include following SOPs, COSHH handling, waste management, and collaboration with other teams to schedule cleans without slowing production. Written English is essential for accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• GMP/Cleanroom experience in pharma, food, or cosmetics preferred.
• Must follow SOPs exactly to maintain compliant GMP standards.
• Knowledge of COSHH and safe handling of cleaning agents.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in accuracy.
• Ability to document cleaning logs and forms in English.

Responsabilités

• Deep Cleaning of production lines, conveyors, and components to prevent cross-contamination.
• Assemble and disassemble filling chasses as required.
• Follow GMP SOPs and verify cleaning effectiveness via swabbing.
• Maintain precise, real-time logs for schedules and equipment status.
• Safely dilute, handle and store industrial cleaning agents per COSHH.
• Process general and hazardous waste per environmental guidelines.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to schedule cleans without halting production.

Position: Hygiene Operative

Location: Aylesbury

Proactive are currently working with a client who are a market leader in their field based in Aylesbury.

The client are currently in need of a Hygiene Operative. The need is due to rapid company growth, the successful candidate will be joining a thriving business and be helping maintain the site's function through this exciting influx of work.

Your daily duties will include:

• Deep Cleaning: Semi-automated production lines, conveyor systems, and auxiliary components to 100% prevent cross-contamination.
• Assembly and disassembly of filling chassis.
• GMP Compliance: Follow strict SOPs and verify cleaning effectiveness through bacterial/particle swabbing.
• Documentation: Maintain precise, real-time logs for all cleaning schedules and equipment status.
• Chemical Safety: Safely dilute, handle, and store industrial cleaning agents in line with COSHH.
• Waste Management: Efficiently process general and hazardous production waste per environmental guidelines.
• Cross-Team Collab: Coordinate with cross functional teams to schedule deep cleans without slowing down production.

Experience:

• Previous GMP/Cleanroom Experience: Prior experience in pharmaceuticals, food manufacturing, cosmetic production.
• Following Procedures: The ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) exactly. In a GMP environment, if a step is missed, the area is not compliant.
• COSHH Awareness: Knowledge of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health. You must understand how to handle, dilute, and dispose of industrial-grade disinfectants safely.
• Attention to Detail: Take pride in getting the smallest details right the first time.
• Literacy & Documentation: Written English is vital for accurately completing Cleaning Logs and Forms.

Desirable Experience:

• Machine disassembly: Proven experience of disassembling production line components safely and correctly according to written procedures.
• Problem Solving: The ability to identify potential cross-contamination risks (e.g., a damaged floor seal) and escalat
• Specialised Equipment Training: Experience using automated or semi-automated cleaning equipment.
