Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is seeking a Hygiene Operative to join our on-site team for our client. You will help maintain high cleaning standards in line with the agreed specifications and play a crucial role in delivering our services.

You will work both alone and within a team, receive full training, and must have a good understanding of English. The role offers full training and an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Use correct materials and methods; keep equipment clean and in good working order.
• Report faulty machinery immediately to your supervisor.
• Ensure machinery is isolated/locked off before cleaning.
• Use hazardous chemicals safely - acids/alkalis, as trained.
• Attend training as required by your Line Manager.
• Record accidents and near misses with your supervisor.
• Work comfortably alone or in a team.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment and make decisions when needed.
• Training provided if you have cleaning experience.
• Good written and spoken English.

As a Hygiene Operative, you'll ensure all standards are maintained within the agreed spec's. You'll play a crucial part within our team, ensuring we continue to deliver against our deliverables, whilst building and maintaining strong working connections with both your colleagues and the client. Main duties and Responsibilities

• To ensure correct materials, equipment and methods are used at all times and equipment is kept clean and in good working order.
• Report faulty machinery / equipment immediately to your supervisor.
• To ensure that all machinery is Isolated / locked off prior to cleaning, as trained.
• Correct use "as trained" of hazardous chemicals - acids / alkalis
• To attend training as required by your Line Manager / supervisor.
• You'll ensure all accidents and 'near misses' to your Line Manager / supervisor.
• Are you comfortable working alone and as part of a team?
• Do you have experience working in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment and able to make decisions when needed?
• Do you have any cleaning experience? If so, don't worry full training will be provided!
• Do you have a good understanding of English, both written and spoken?
