Job summary

Blue Arrow is seeking a Hygiene Operative for a busy food production site in Scotland. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm, with full training and a permanent contract.

You will help maintain the highest cleanliness and food safety standards, assist with deep cleaning, and operate floor scrubbers and pressure washers. A positive attitude and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning production areas, machinery, racks, and equipment
• Deep cleaning and strip-down of machinery (full training provided)
• Sweeping, mopping, pressure washing, and waste disposal
• Operating cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, hot hoses, pressure washers, and vacuums
• Following cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all times

The Role

As a Hygiene Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring production areas and equipment are cleaned to the highest standards. Duties will include:

• Cleaning production areas, machinery, racks, and equipment
• Deep cleaning and strip-down of machinery (full training provided)
• Sweeping, mopping, pressure washing, and waste disposal
• Operating cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, hot hoses, pressure washers, and vacuums
• Following cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all times
