Job summary

Premier Work Support is recruiting a temporary Hygiene Operative for a prestigious Catering client near Gatwick. The role involves completing scheduled cleaning needs according to Health & Safety standards and promoting cleanliness.

Ideally, you should have experience in food/drink production and basic Health & Safety knowledge. Shifts are Monday to Friday, from 11:00 to 19:00, ensuring a structured work environment with a focus on hygiene and quality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food/drink production is advantageous but not essential.
• Basic knowledge of Health & Safety is required.
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team.

Premier Work Support are excited to be recruiting for a temporary Hygiene Operative for a prestigious Catering client based near Gatwick.

The duties of a Hygiene Operative are:

• Complete scheduled cleaning requirements in accordance with Health & Safety, including COSHH, product safety, legality & quality requirements.
• Promote clean as you go and work to these standards daily.
• Cleaning of equipment and production line to meet required standards.
• Always wear PPE correctly, including hairnet, safety shoes, chemical resistant gloves and other required PPE.
• Have pest awareness and report any activity to the Technical team.
• Have a proactive approach towards Hygiene requirements and strive to be multiskilled.
• Daily Warehouse, communal areas and offices cleaning.
• Batching Room Cleaning – Barrels, equipment, sieves, hoses.
• Waste management.
• Maintain the company's highest hygiene and quality standards.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Previous experience in food/drink production would be advantageous but not essential as the right attitude can make up for the lack of experience.
• Basic knowledge of Health & Safety.
• Ability to complete tasks thoroughly.
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team.

Shifts are:

• Monday - Friday, 11:00 - 19:00
