Job summary

Birds Bakery is seeking a dedicated Hygiene Operative to join our fast-paced food manufacturing team at Ascot Drive. You will help keep machinery and the site spotless while upholding high hygiene standards.

This is an active, practical role with 40 hours per week. No two days are the same as you work with specialist equipment to ensure safe, quality products for customers.

Training will be provided; 4 weeks holiday rising to 5 weeks after five years, plus bank holidays, and staff discount.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work unsupervised and as a member of a team.
• Previous experience preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• 4 weeks holiday per year increasing incrementally each year to 5 weeks holiday per year (after 5 years continuous service) plus bank holidays.

• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness and safety at a high standard while operating in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

We are looking for individuals with a positive, flexible attitude who will be able to work under pressure without compromising hygiene, cleanliness, and safety and with the ability to work to a high standard in an efficient, clean, and tidy manner.

Shifts

Working Pattern = Mon to Thurs 9-5, Fri 9-4:30, Sat 8-11 (total 40 hours)

Experience

Must be able to work unsupervised and as a member of a team.

Qualifications

Previous experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided for suitable applicants.
