Job summary

Pilgrim’s Europe is seeking a Night Hygiene Operative for our Corsham site to maintain cleanliness and hygiene to strict standards. The role supports morning production by preparing equipment and clean rooms for the day ahead.

You will work the 22:00–06:00 shift, with training provided; a shop-floor capable team member with attention to food safety and GMP procedures is ideal, with opportunities for progression within the site.

Qualifications

• Food safety level 1 or 2 is desirable, but not essential.
• Training will be provided for the hygiene role.
• Ability to follow SOPs and work in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean production areas and equipment using in-house washdown systems.
• Set up equipment for morning production.
• Report faults and equipment issues.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and GMP standards.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures.

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• 22:00pm – 06:00am
• Voluntary overtime available

Responsibilities

• Cleaning productions areas and equipment, using in-house washdown systems.
• Setting up equipment for morning production
• Report faults and equipment issues
• Follow food safety, hygiene and GMP standards
• Follow Health & Safety procedures

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and procedures
• The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Previous experience of working in hygiene role preferable but not essential as full training will be given.
• Numeracy and literacy as appropriate for the role
