Tetra Tech Europe is seeking a hydrogeologist at Consultant or Senior grade to deliver groundwater and water-resource projects across the UK and Ireland. You will contribute to scoping, field investigations, and regulatory submissions while developing junior staff and coordinating client engagements.

The role emphasizes water resources management, regulatory compliance, and climate-resilience work with hybrid working arrangements and travel across GB and Ireland.

Qualifications

• Good honours degree in hydrogeology, geology, earth science or related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification in hydrogeology or water resources management is advantageous.
• Experience in water resource assessment or groundwater consultancy with fieldwork and analysis.

Responsabilités

• Delivering technical assessments, options appraisals and regulatory inputs for water resource planning frameworks.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise fieldwork including borehole investigations and pumping tests.
• Analyse hydrological and hydrogeological data to evaluate resource availability and catchment dynamics.
• Support environmental impact assessments and WFD compliance.
• Draft high-quality technical reports and regulatory submissions.
• Manage project tasks, budgets and subcontractors; senior staff may lead work packages.
