Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Consultant/Senior Water Resources Hydrogeologist to join our Groundwater & Geothermal Team in the UK. The role covers diverse groundwater and water-resources projects, supporting sustainable water resource management, water security, and catchment resilience.

Senior level offers project ownership and leadership of work packages. The successful candidate will conduct scoping, field investigation, and technical assessment from initiation to regulatory submission,

Qualifications

• Good honours degree in hydrogeology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical assessments, options appraisals, and regulatory inputs for water resource planning.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise fieldwork including borehole investigations and pumping tests.
• Analyse hydrological, hydrogeological and water-quality data to evaluate resource availability and yields.
• Support impact assessments under WFD and abstraction sustainability.
• Draft high-quality technical reports and regulatory submissions.
