Job summary

Tetra Tech Europe is seeking an ambitious hydrogeologist to join our Groundwater & Geothermal Team. You will work on groundwater resources, dewatering, contaminant hydrogeology, monitoring, borehole investigations, and geothermal development.

The role may be at Consultant or Senior level, with increasing independence, client contact, and supervision responsibilities as you progress. Hybrid working with UK-wide travel is available.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in geology, earth science or related discipline with hydrogeology experience.
• Practical fieldwork and investigation experience.
• Strong data analysis and report writing skills.
• Familiarity with UK/Irish groundwater regulation and licensing; full driving licence and travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and commercial delivery from scoping to reporting across groundwater and geothermal projects.
• Act as day-to-day client contact and review junior colleagues’ work.
• Balance office-based analysis with site activities and field leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and support projects across GB&I and select international assignments.
