Tetra Tech Europe is seeking a Consultant or Senior Hydrogeologist to lead groundwater and water-resource projects across the UK and Ireland. The role combines field investigations, data analysis and regulatory submissions, with opportunities to manage work packages and mentor junior staff.

The position offers hybrid working arrangements, a pathway to senior ownership, and collaboration with utilities, regulators, and private clients. Travel across GB and Ireland is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Honours degree in hydrogeology or related earth sciences.
• Experience in water-resource assessment or groundwater consultancy.
• Understanding of UK/Ireland groundwater regulations and licensing.
• Willingness to travel across Great Britain and Ireland.

Aufgaben

• Delivering technical assessments, options appraisals, and regulatory inputs for water resource planning frameworks.
• Planning, coordinating, and supervising fieldwork including borehole investigations and hydraulic testing.
• Analyzing hydrological and groundwater data to evaluate resource availability and abstractable yields.
• Drafting technical reports, regulatory applications and digital deliverables for clients and regulators.
• Managing project tasks, budgets and subcontractors; lead defined work packages for seniors.
