Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited is offering an undergraduate internship at Filton, Bristol, focusing on end-to-end development of hydrogen-focused test rigs for Fuel and Landing Gear Systems. The role involves collaborating with teams in a non-office environment and using CATIA for 3D models and BOMs.

The placement is for 12.5 months, with a 16 August 2027 start date, and requires an undergraduate throughout the placement, CV + Cover Letter, and alignment with health and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Open to Undergraduates only for the whole duration of the placement.
• CV and Cover Letter required.
• Undergrad studying fluid/mechanical/chemical engineering;
• Safe-work mindset in hazardous environments.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end development of hydrogen-focused test rigs from requirements to design, build and commissioning.
• Modify existing hydrogen-focused rigs for new tests.
• Troubleshoot test rig issues.
• Produce 3D digital mock-ups, BOMs and build procedures using CATIA.
• Work in a non-office environment with prototyping areas and test rigs.
