Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited invites undergraduates to join the Fuel & Inerting Systems team at Filton for a 12.5 month placement starting 16 August 2027. The role covers design, tests and integration of fuel gauging and control systems across Airbus aircraft, with exposure to R&T and Flight Test campaigns.

You will work in a dynamic, safety‑critical environment, gaining hands‑on experience in computer modelling, design interfaces, and system development while benefiting from flexible hybrid

Qualifications

• Undergraduates only for the entire placement duration.
• Please indicate graduation date on application.
• Open to students pursuing relevant engineering degrees.

Responsibilities

• Join the Control & Indication department in Fuel & Inerting Systems.
• Assist design and development of fuel gauging and control systems.
• Support flight test campaigns and DVT activities.
• Develop skills as an engineer within a collaborative team.
