Job summary

Cathedral Appointments | B Corp™ in Taunton seeks an Application Development & Support Analyst to develop Visualfiles workflows and support case management systems. The role blends development with hands-on IT support in a professional services environment.

The ideal candidate will have VB development experience, workflow automation skills and a solid grasp of database concepts. Hybrid working is available after probation, with salary up to £40,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

Experience with VisualBasic or similar language.
Workflow scripting and automation within a case management or business system.
Experience in screen, document and form creation and maintenance.
Solid understanding of database management principles.
Ability to create and maintain workflow and technical documentation.
Knowledge of HTML, SQL, Visualfiles advantageous.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Visualfiles workflows, forms, templates and automation.
Support and improve the organisation's case management systems and business applications.
Produce reports using SQL, Power BI and Excel.
Provide day-to-day IT support to colleagues across the business.
Assist with system upgrades, testing and implementations.
Support third-party system integrations.
Create and maintain technical documentation, and deliver user training where required.
