Job summary

Portfolio Group is seeking a dedicated payroll professional to manage weekly and monthly payroll cycles in a hybrid role based in the UK. You will be the key link between our organisation and the outsourced payroll provider, ensuring accurate, timely data and process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have strong UK payroll processing experience, be CIPP-qualified or progressing towards it, and be confident using Excel and payroll systems.

Qualifications

• Strong background in UK payroll processing and legislation.
• CIPP qualified, working towards it, or open to studying.
• Confident with data validations, Excel, and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate weekly and monthly payroll submissions.
• Liaise directly with outsourced payroll provider.
• Ensure payroll data is accurate, complete, and on time.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies, queries, and adjustments.
• Support year-end activities, HMRC submissions, and pension reporting.
