Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited is seeking a skilled payroll professional to coordinate weekly and monthly payroll cycles within a supportive HR Operations team.

You will act as the link between our organisation and our outsourced payroll provider, ensuring accurate data, timely submissions, and smooth year-end processes. The role offers hybrid working (Chorley or Huyton) with development toward CIPP Level 5.

Qualifications

• Strong background in UK payroll processing and legislation.
• CIPP qualified, working towards it, or open to studying.
• Proficient in data validations and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate weekly and monthly payroll submissions.
• Liaise with outsourced payroll provider.
• Ensure payroll data is accurate, complete and on time.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies, queries and adjustments.
• Support year-end activities, HMRC submissions, and pension reporting.
