Kier Group is seeking a Transport Technician to join our team at Wellingborough Depot, Northamptonshire. This permanent full-time role offers hybrid working, 37.5 hours per week, and a salary between £28,000 and £32,000 plus benefits.

You will support fleet operations across sites, manage vehicle maintenance schedules, and coordinate with depot teams and workshops. Duties include gate checks, drivers’ hours paperwork, and cost processing with the finance team. A full driving licence is required.

Competenze

• Knowledge of transport regulations and health & safety requirements.
• Excellent written communication and ability to create clear reports.
• Experience using Microsoft Office to manage data and reports.

Mansioni

• Review and maintain routine vehicle maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with depot teams, suppliers and workshops.
• Conduct vehicle and driver gate checks as part of audits.
• Process drivers' hours paperwork.
• Handle vehicle and plant costs through the finance team while delivering service.
