Job summary

Via East Midlands Limited is seeking a Depot Maintenance Operative to join our Facilities Team. The role is based at our Head Office in Bilsthorpe with travel to depots as required, contributing to repairs, compliance, and safety across sites.

You will operate plant and equipment, conduct checks, and maintain documentation while upholding our values of Care, Commitment and Community. Hybrid working arrangements are available where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance operations and basic repairs.
• Valid Cat C driving license and Driver CPC are preferred.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and preventative maintenance to depot standards.
• Conduct compliance and depot checks and address non-conformances.
• Identify repair needs and escalate priorities.
• Induct contractors and ensure risk assessments are in place.
• Operate vehicles, plant and tools with proper safety procedures.
• Complete paperwork and risk assessments in line with procedures.
• Maintain professional conduct and uphold company reputation.
