Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking a dedicated individual to join Fleet Operations & Compliance. You will assist with depot maintenance, grounds work, and reception duties, while handling deliveries and vehicle movements across multiple sites.

The role requires a Category B driving licence, knowledge of safety legislation, and strong numeracy and literacy. Hybrid working options and a strong pension scheme are provided.

Competenze

• Holds a Category B driving licence and can operate standard vehicle duties.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation and Council policies.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills for records and reports.
• Proficient with IT packages, especially Word and Excel.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines while working independently.

Mansioni

• Carry out general maintenance, grounds maintenance and cleaning activities across depot facilities.
• Maintain accurate records and complete documentation.
• Assist with site operations and provide a professional reception service.
• Collect, deliver and safely manoeuvre vehicles across depot sites.
• Receive, check and store deliveries.
• Undertake First Aid and Fire Warden responsibilities as required.
