Job summary

Bright Horizons UK is seeking a skilled Time & Attendance Lead to own the UK T&A operations, working with Payroll, HR, Finance and HR Systems to keep processes accurate and efficient. You will maintain the UKG platform, resolve complex issues, and deliver engaging training for managers and users.

Hybrid role based in Northampton with occasional travel to Head Office. DBS required. Competitive salary DOE and a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Time & Attendance and/or HRIS systems.
• Excellent understanding of end-to-end T&A processes and payroll impacts.
• Experience investigating root causes and resolving complex system or process issues.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical process or system solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and supporting users through change.
• Experience with UKG and/or Workday.
• Previous experience in payroll, HR systems, or shared services.
• Experience leading process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead all UK Time & Attendance operational activities, ensuring processes are completed accurately and on time.
• Act as the go-to expert for complex T&A queries and system issues.
• Manage and resolve support tickets while guiding managers and system users.
• Work with Payroll to ensure accurate downstream processing and seamless data flow.
• Design and deliver training programmes, onboarding sessions, e-learning content, and user guides.
• Identify risks and recurring issues, implementing sustainable solutions to improve processes and employee experience.
• Support system testing, reporting, annual leave loading, and continuous improvement initiatives.
