CVS Group in the UK is seeking a Payroll Team Leader to oversee the monthly UK payroll, lead the payroll administration team, and ensure accurate, timely delivery. The role involves coordinating with HR and Finance, handling complex queries, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The position is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, and requires up-to-date knowledge of HMRC legislation, RTI, pensions, and GDPR.

• Experience leading UK payroll operations and teams.
• Strong accuracy and stakeholder service mindset.
• Ability to navigate HMRC rules and payroll platforms.

Responsabilités

• Team Leadership - manage and develop the UK payroll team, providing coaching, feedback, and ongoing training to support high performance and engagement.
• Payroll Management - oversee end‑to‑end UK payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. Resolve complex payroll queries efficiently.
• Compliance & Reporting - maintain knowledge of UK payroll legislation, SLAs, and produce regular reports for senior leadership.
• Process & Systems Improvement - drive continuous improvement and streamline payroll processes.
• Stakeholder Collaboration - partner with HR, Finance, and external audits as needed.
• Project Delivery - lead payroll-related projects including system upgrades and policy changes.
