Job summary

Adria Solutions Ltd in Manchester is seeking a Technical Lead for a new digital services platform. This hands-on role combines production coding with technical leadership, shaping architecture and guiding delivery in an early engineering team backed by experienced supporters.

You will mentor engineers, review code, and help establish high engineering standards while applying AI coding tools to maintain secure, reliable software. This role covers APIs and platform integration.

Qualifications

• At least eight years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proven mentoring and leadership of small engineering teams.
• Experience delivering full-stack features and APIs.
• Solid database skills with PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL Server.
• Experience using AI coding tools in production workflows.
• Commitment to secure, tested, maintainable code.
• Interest in fintech and payments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build platform features using Node.js, TypeScript.
• Contribute production code while guiding a small team.
• Resolve blockers and support engineers with complex issues.
• Mentor through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Shape architecture decisions and development standards.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and shorten feedback cycles.
• Guide AI tool usage and maintain testing and security.
• Develop AI capabilities like assistants and automation.
• Build REST and GraphQL integrations with external services.
• Own features from design through deployment and support.
• Collaborate with product, design, platform and payments teams.
