Job summary

Adria Solutions Ltd. seeks a Technical Lead for Software Engineering & AI to lead an engineering team while staying hands-on. You will combine production coding with technical direction, design scalable services, and mentor the team.

Two stacks are offered: Node.js/TypeScript or Java/Kotlin/Scala, with experience in one stack sufficient. The role involves working with CTO, implementing secure, reliable systems, building integrations, and contributing to testing and deployment pipelines.

Qualifications

• Eight years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js/TypeScript or Java/Kotlin/Scala.
• Track record mentoring engineers and guiding technical delivery.
• Strong database knowledge and experience integrating third-party services.
• Experience with automated testing, version control, CI/CD and secure coding.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable services from concept to production.
• Provide technical direction while remaining hands-on in coding.
• Resolve blockers and help the team make practical design decisions.
• Review code and mentor colleagues to establish consistent development practices.
• Build and maintain integrations with external systems.
• Collaborate with platform engineers to improve testing and deployment pipelines.
• Apply security, performance and reliability standards across the stack.
• Support live services and use production feedback to improve the platform.
• Collaborate with product, design and other engineering disciplines.
