Adria Solutions Ltd. seeks a Technical Lead for Software Engineering & AI to lead an engineering team while staying hands-on. You will combine production coding with technical direction, design scalable services, and mentor the team.
Two stacks are offered: Node.js/TypeScript or Java/Kotlin/Scala, with experience in one stack sufficient. The role involves working with CTO, implementing secure, reliable systems, building integrations, and contributing to testing and deployment pipelines.
Adria Solutions is recruiting Technical Leads for a technology business building a new platform. With established backing and an early engineering team, the business offers significant scope to influence architecture, delivery and development standards.
Working directly with the CTO, you’ll combine production coding with technical leadership. You’ll help turn requirements into well‑designed software, resolve complex challenges and support colleagues through mentoring and code reviews.
There are two opportunities, suited to different technical backgrounds:
Experience in one of these stacks is sufficient—you do not need both.
You’ll use AI coding tools as a regular part of your development workflow and help colleagues get value from them.
We’re looking for someone who can critically assess generated code, validate its behaviour and maintain strong engineering standards. The Node.js/TypeScript opportunity also offers scope to develop AI-powered product features.
For the Node.js/TypeScript position, experience delivering features across the full stack is relevant. For the Java/Kotlin/Scala position, asynchronous processing and event‑driven architecture are key.
Experience building new platforms, working in regulated environments, or using cloud services, containers and infrastructure as code would be beneficial.
You’ll receive a £90.000 - £95,000 salary, 1-2 days working in Manchester, a company pension and a generous holiday allowance with bank holidays on top.
The business also offers continued learning support, opportunities for progression and substantial input into the platform’s technical direction.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship.
