Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Technical Presales Consultant to shape complex data centre projects, win customer confidence and drive delivery from initial discussions to handover. The role splits roughly 50/50 between technical pre‑sales and project delivery, working closely with customers to develop practical solutions.

You will join a specialist physical IT infrastructure services business with a five‑person team, reporting to the COO.

Qualifications

Demonstrable technical pre-sales experience, including customer discovery, solution design, scoping, estimating and supporting successful bids.

Responsibilities

Work alongside the sales team to understand customer requirements, conduct site surveys and identify practical technical solutions.
Develop accurate estimates, scopes of work and technical proposals that support successful bids and customer commitments.
Manage infrastructure projects from initial planning through to completion, maintaining control of budgets, resources and delivery schedules.
Coordinate engineers, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure installations, relocations and decommissioning projects are delivered successfully.
Identify technical and operational risks early, maintaining clear customer communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Share your pre‑sales knowledge with colleagues, supporting their development in customer discovery, technical scoping and estimating.
